Mother's Day At Filoli: Treat Mom To Tea and International Flower Show

This year, Filoli celebrates its 27th Anniversary of their Flower Show Fundraiser, which has become a premiere event in the Bay Area on Mother’s Day Weekend.

The Flower Show theme this year is “Voyages…with an International Flair.”

Visitors will enjoy viewing floral interpretations, elegant table settings and garden vignettes created by more than 90 designers who are inspired by this theme. There will be live music all three days - Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 8 to 10.

The historic Greenhouses will also be open to visitors Friday through Sunday where plants that have been in the Filoli collection since 1920 can be viewed.

There will be live music and educational exhibitors everyday and Garden Information Docents will be on hand from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. to answer questions about Filoli, as well as guests’ questions about their own home gardens. Flower Arranging Demonstrations take place on Friday and Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Filoli Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch on Sunday is sold out.

However, tickets still are available for Special Teas on Friday and Saturday, and Flower Show General Admission on all three days.

Pre-ordered Boxed Lunches are $20 for adults and $12 for children (portion size appropriate for children 12 years and younger) and are served on the Tennis Court rain or shine on Saturday and Sunday.

Reservations are strongly recommended as tickets sell out and space is limited.

During the Flower Show there is no room for strollers in the House or at the Teas and Brunches in the Visitor and Education Center.
