Mountain Charley's Reopens!

The establishment, 15½ No. Santa Cruz Ave., is now owned by Joe Farwell, the son of the bar's original owner, the late Jim Farwell, who opened it in 1972.

Achilli owned the bar along with Sue Farwell until 2007 when they sold it to Paul Garcia.

killed the morning of March 14, 2008, in front of his Los Gatos townhouse after becoming involved in a dangerous love triangle that authorities say cost him his life. 

Regardless of its sad past, the detailed remodel work has completely transformed the place, giving it a beautiful polished look from the floors to the ceilings.
