You have until Friday to go by the library or Civic Center and write on one of the scrolls. Then you are invited to attend a special ceremony at 10 a.m. Tuesday near the entryway to the new library where the device will be buried, not to be opened until Aug. 10, 2087, the date of the town's bicentennial anniversary.

Why Go: It's Fathers' Day, which also coincides with the kickoff of this summer's Music in the Park series. So why not spend Father's Day as a family and go to the park. The town will offer a free concert every Sunday through Aug. 28. Things get rolling with "Living in the USA—A Cross Country Music Trip," featuring music legends of country and rock. The best place to park is behind Los Gatos High School, just down the street from the Civic Center.
