Nonprofit Founded By LG Resident Moves Fundraiser Online: Report
The virtual fundraiser will be held on Aug. 23.
LOS GATOS, CA — A local nonprofit that supports cancer patients and their families has changed the way it will hold its annual fundraising gala amid the coronavirus crisis, but its goal remains the same.
Cancer CAREpoint, which founded by Los Gatos resident Jan Willoughby and Gay Crawford of Saratoga has moved its annual Garden Party fundraiser online, The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Despite moving the event to a virtual environment, the group still hopes to hit its $500,000 fundraising goal.
