PHOTO: A Poet Laureate Conference

Cupertino's newly annointed and first-ever Poet Laureate, , was in Wednesday evening with two Los Gatos poets, doing what else but talking poetry business.

Los Gatos resident Sally Ashton, Santa Clara County's poet laureate, also just happens to be the wife of Flight owner Frank Ashton.

Denny and Sally Ashton were joined by Los Gatos Poet Laureate Parthenia Hicks.

Asked if they were collaborating on a joint poem, the answer was, "No, but that's a good idea."
