As my wife and I walk our dogs daily up a very popular hill for other dog lovers and walkers up Harwood and into Bel Gatos park you cant miss all the posted signs about picking up after your pets. At the entrance to the top of the park there is even a supply of bags for you. But you cant help but see that many people fail to clean up and then there are the 50% ers ! they pick up and then toss the bag into the bushes as you can see them all up and down the street.
I think the problem is there is no place to throw them away. i think that aleast there should be a can next to the pole with the bags at the top of the park.
I am thinking about placing a 5 gallon bucket some place up the hill. not sure if its possible to get the city to place a small container some where for p.u.
I have left bags there and picked up on the way down. Its not pleasent holding onto that bag for a 3 mile walk! but we do pick them up.
So just looking for other dog owners thought and ideas
