Police Arrest Suspect in Los Gatos Z Wireless Store Robbery
Kevin Patterson, 24, of Sunnyvale was arrested on suspicion of robbery, embezzlement and filing a false police report.

Police arrested one suspect last month and added offenses to another in custody, both of who allegedly robbed a Z Wireless store in Los Gatos in May, police said.
San Jose police arrested Sunnyvale resident Kevin Patterson, 24, Oct. 29 on suspicion of robbery, embezzlement and filing a false police report, according to police.
Prosecutors said they did not charge Patterson with filing a false police report.

Santa Clara police officers arrested San Jose resident Johnny Ros, 24, in July for allegedly robbing Santa Clara Z Wireless stores from May to July and additional offenses were added when police found evidence he orchestrated the Los Gatos store robbery, police said.
Ros allegedly was an employee of the store and was in custody at the time police asked he be charged in that case.

The robbery was reported at about 7:05 p.m. May 23 at the Z Wireless store at 15200 Los Gatos Blvd., Suite 500, police said.
Patterson allegedly entered the store and pulled a knife on Ros and demanded mobile devices from the safe, police said.
Patterson allegedly left the store with several phones and other products, according to police. Detectives claim they linked both men to a robbery of a San Jose Walgreen store.
Patterson was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for robbing the Walgreen store and the Los Gatos Z Wireless store, according to police.
Prosecutors said they charged both men with second-degree robbery and grand theft by an employee. Prosecutors said they also charged Ros with filing a false police report.
