Pregnancy and childbirth is a wonderful experience that can sometimes be accompanied by pain and other issues. The Postpartum Wellness Classes at El Camino Hospital will provide insight into how to manage back and pelvic pain, improve bowel and bladder dysfunction, and care for your pelvic floor muscles.

Conducted by a licensed physical therapist and certified pelvic floor specialist, these classes will teach abdominal exercises to strengthen your core as well as train you in proper posture and body mechanics.
Classes are free and offered twice a month at both hospital locations. The first class of every month is focused on Posture and Body Mechanics (Sept 10th) and the second class is focused on Pelvic Floor Strengthening (Aug 27th and Sep 24th). Babies are welcome to attend the classes.
