Raw Evolution Opens in Los Gatos!

Raw Evolution, a new nutrition and lifestyle coaching business, has opened in Los Gatos at 636 No. Santa Cruz Ave. under the ownership of raw vegan nutritionist Hanne Salome Steffensen.

Steffensen opened her doors officially in February of this year offering her plant-based nutrition, "super foods" and "super herbs" teaching her clients how to grow raw vegan foods.

The Los Gatos resident is originally from Denmark and has lived in England,  Scandinavia and Asia. Before opening the new business, she was already helping customers with their nutrition needs.

"No matter your personal goals or vision for yourself and your family, you already know that eating the right food is key for a thriving body, mind and spirit," Steffensen writes on her website.

"Getting the ultimate nourishment for your body is how you activate the life force within you, your energy levels, your thinking capacity, your ability to deal with stress, your sex drive, your sleeping habits, and ability to connect with other people, nature and yourself – knowing and feeling you are part of something bigger."

Since 2003, Steffensen said she's been helping clients make lifestyle changes, detox/cleanses, fight allergies, lose weight, get more energy and reverse and heal health challenges.

Steffensen, who's married and has two children, said she's the only employee at the business and is available by appointment only.

Her services include personal consultations, classes, selling so-called tonics or elixir drinks and food products. On Fridays she holds office hours from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
