Reader Photos: Silicon Valley Turkey Trot

manager Matt Heinrichs participated in the Silicon Valley Turkey Trot in San Jose on Thursday along with 21,000 other people who helped raise money for local charities.

He took dozens of photos of children participating in the event's "Fun Run" 5K race or 3.1 miles, which saw a record turnount along with the 10K race or 6.2 miles.

Willow Street Wood Fired Pizza and at Lyndon Plaza in downtown Los Gatos have been experiencing some exciting things recently, Heinrichs told Los Gatos Patch.

This year, he said, Willow Street celebrated its 20th anniversary. The business' WIllow Glen location just finished the construction of a brand new expanded bar and patio.

Also, this past week, Main Street Burgers finished its expansion from suite 200 at 20 So. Santa Cruz Ave. into the old space in suite 201, Heinrichs added.
