Readers' Choice Winner: Gardino Fresco For Best Pasta
Renovated Italian restaurant in downtown Los Gatos gets the most votes for having awesome spaghetti with meat balls!
The results are in and has been named the best place to get your noodle on in town in
Gardino Fresco received 34 percent of the vote and edged out , and two other competitors, which also had a strong showing.
Of the 96 votes cast, Gardino Fresco got 33 of them, followed by I Gatti with 29 votes, or 30 percent and The Pastaria and Market, with 22 votes or 22 percent.

The mom-and-pop Italian restaurant, located at 51 No. Santa Cruz Ave., is owned by Peter Jillo. It now has nearly 1,100 square-feet of extra space with 45 tables, a raised ceiling and a new food service counter where patrons can eat and drink cocktails.
One reviewer on Yelp had this to say about Gardino's: "This place Rocks! The restaurant had a complete makeover and expansion just recently. They installed a beautifuyl new Bar, with a Granite counter, right behind which they put in an ice counter about 12 inches wide where you can put your drinks to keep them cool. It's a nice touch."
