Ready for Spring?: Patch Photos of the Week

LOS GATOS, CA -- The weather may be wet and wintery right now, but spring is right around the corner.

And Patch reader Stephanie Lynott reminded us of that fact recently when she shared these fantastic photos of nature in her Los Gatos backyard.

We loved the images so much that we've made them our Patch Photos of the Week! The pictures are of a praying mantis facing off with a curious hummingbird; a solo shot of a hungry praying mantis; and a bird taking a break in the cuddly arms of a statue.

If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, Patch would love to feature it. We’re looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty that is the Bay Area, and that show off your unique talents.
