A wrestling coach at a San Jose high school was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of lewd acts with a 14-year-old student in a summer club.
SAN JOSE - A wrestling coach at a San Jose high school was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of lewd acts with a 14-year-old student in the summer wrestling club, police said Thursday.
Marc Alquiza, 34, of San Jose, coaches wrestling at Independence High School and for the summer wrestling club that practices there.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he has had the position since 2012.

Police said he committed a lewd act with a participant in the wrestling club in May.
After an investigation, police found and arrested him on Wednesday.

He was booked into the Santa Clara County jail.
