Santa Clara County Reports 100 New Coronavirus Cases, No Deaths

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — The Santa Clara County Public Health Department reported 100 additional coronavirus cases Tuesday.

The latest report brings the countywide case count to 19,613.

The county reported no additional coronavirus-related fatalities Tuesday, leaving its COVID-19 death toll to 283.

There were 101 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Santa Clara County as of Tuesday, of which 40 were being treated in intensive care units.

There have been 766,844 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 14,481 coronavirus-related deaths in California as of Tuesday afternoon according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The United States had 6,593,154 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 195,414 coronavirus-related fatalities as of Tuesday afternoon.

There have been 29,398,712 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 930,910 deaths reported globally as of Tuesday afternoon.
