Santa Clara County Reports 152 New Coronavirus Cases, No Deaths

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — The Santa Clara County Public Health Department reported 152 additional coronavirus cases Monday.

The latest report, which covers a two-day period going back to Saturday, brings the countywide COVID-19 case count to 16,151.

The county reported no additional coronavirus-related fatalities Monday, leaving its COVID-19 death toll at 224.

There were 157 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Santa Clara County as of Monday, of which 40 were being treated in intensive care units.

There have been 675,267 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 12,231 coronavirus-related deaths in California as of Monday afternoon according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The United States had 5,737,398 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 177,215 coronavirus-related fatalities as of Monday afternoon.

There have been 23,561,478 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 811,298 deaths reported globally as of Monday afternoon.
