Santa Clara County Reports 249 New Coronavirus Cases, 4 Deaths

There were 171 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Santa Clara County as of Tuesday, of which 50 were being treated in intensive care units.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — The Santa Clara County Public Health Department reported 249 additional coronavirus cases Tuesday.

The latest report brings the countywide COVID-19 case count to 14872.

The county reported four additional coronavirus-related fatalities Tuesday, bringing its COVID-19 death toll at 213.

There have been 634,598 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 11,349 coronavirus-related deaths in California as of Tuesday afternoon according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The United States had 5,474,630 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 171,516 coronavirus-related fatalities as of Tuesday afternoon.

There have been 21,982,155 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 776,765 deaths reported globally as of Tuesday afternoon.
