Santa Clara County Reports 64 New Coronavirus Cases, No Deaths

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — The Santa Clara County Public Health Department reported 64 additional coronavirus cases Wednesday.

The latest report brings the countywide case count to 22,801.

The county reported no additional coronavirus-related fatalities Wednesday, leaving its COVID-19 death toll at 363.

There were 79 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Santa Clara County as of Wednesday, of which 20 were being treated in intensive care units.

There have been 863,485 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 16,700 coronavirus-related deaths in California as of Wednesday afternoon according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The United States had 7,899,313 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 216,513 coronavirus-related fatalities as of Wednesday afternoon.

There have been 38,351,539 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 1,089,186 deaths reported globally as of Wednesday afternoon.
