Silicon Valley Bocce Bash For Special Olympics: Sign-Ups Underway

Join this awesome fundraiser as a company, organization or as an individual. A great night for a great cause. Bocce novices welcome!

LOS GATOS, CA – Registration is underway for the fourth annual Silicon Valley Bocce Bash, a night of food, fun and competitive bocce to benefit Special Olympics Northern California.

Held at Campo di Bocce in Los Gatos, the event is Thursday, May 10 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Participants will compete in a round-robin tournament designed for both novice and seasoned players, with timed rounds judged by professional referees, according to organizers.

Two Special Olympics Northern California athlete teams will also compete, and every team will have multiple "byes" to allow time to check out the silent-auction offerings and enjoy beer, wine and soft drinks, plus great Italian food, including appetizers, salads, handmade pizzas, pastas and desserts.

Those interested can purchase a court sponsorship ($2,500), ideal for a company or organization and includes signage on the sponsored bocce court, one team of four players and invitations for additional guests, a bocce team registration at $1,000 for four players, or an individual ticket for $125.

Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Northern California, which serves more than 22,780 Special Olympics athletes and more than 236 competitions each year in 14 different sports.
