Update: Small Fire Outside Los Gatos Extinguished
An army of 85 firefighters swarmed the fire, putting it out before it could get out of control.

Update:
Firefighters have extinguished a two-alarm brush fire that burned an acre just outside of Los Gatos this afternoon, a Santa Clara County Fire Department spokeswoman said.
Shortly before 1 p.m., crews responded to a report of a fire off Aztec Ridge Road and Blackberry Hill Road, county fire spokeswoman Stephanie Stuehler said.

The fire burned an acre and was under control shortly before 2:30 p.m., she said. A structure was threatened by the blaze but did not sustain any damage, according to Stuehler. No injuries were reported and no evacuations were ordered, she said.
Cal Fire sent about 60 firefighters and provided a helicopter that dropped retardant to help put out the blaze, fire prevention specialist Pam Temmermand said.

About 25 Santa Clara County firefighters responded to the fire, Stuehler said.
Crews remained at the scene this afternoon to mop up and put out any hot spots, according to Stuehler.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Firefighters are responding to a half-acre vegetation fire just outside of Los Gatos this afternoon, a Cal Fire spokeswoman said.
Shortly after 1 p.m., crews responded to a report of a fire off Aztec Ridge Road near Inca Court, Cal Fire fire prevention specialist Pam Temmermand said. The blaze is threatening one structure, Temmermand said.
No injuries were reported.
Santa Clara County Fire Department crews are also responding to the blaze. No further details about the fire were immediately available.
