South Bay Marsh Fire Nearly Triples In Size Overnight: Cal Fire

The blaze has burned nearly 1,800 acres.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A Santa Clara County fire has grown to 1,775 acres, Cal Fire reports.

The blaze was first reported Sunday afternoon as a 120-acre fire northeast of Milpitas off of Arroyo Hondo and Oakridge roads according to Cal Fire.

The blaze had spread to 600 acres as of early Monday morning and had nearly tripled in size as of around 9 a.m.
