A Special Mother-Daughter Reunion: PHOTO

LOS GATOS, CA — Whether it's through their personality, their looks or a combination of both, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

This one shows Cathy Fardanesh (left) and her mother, Terry Bickelmann (right).

"Here is picture of my beautiful mother and me. Taken last Summer August 2017 at Lake of The Pines in Auburn, CA," writes Cathy.

"I was born in San Jose Hospital and adopted by an amazing family and grew up in Los Gatos. I found my birthmother, Terry ( pictured) on Mother’s Day 2015!!! Can’t believe how alike we are!!! We are so enjoying having each other!"
