NUMU: Still Life Painting Workshop with Conor Walton - Nov. 14th and 15th

For a young student this will be a unique experience to spend time with an internationally accomplished painter traveling from Ireland.

Some experience required. Excellent class to polish your technique or build a portfolio.

NUMU is happy to host Conor for a two day oil painting class. Conor will help each student complete a simple and beautiful small still life over the weekend. For a young student this will be a unique experience to spend time with an internationally accomplished painter who has studied and exhibited throughout Europe. Conor is a dedicated father and painter who creates clever and mysterious images from his other-worldly imagination.

Students will receive a materials list after registration, however oil paint will be available to be shared by the group. Expect an opportunity to complete a small painting in one weekend and broaden your horizons by spending time with an experienced world traveler.

Our local students will be treated to a special visit from Conor Walton. Conor is traveling from Wicklow, Ireland to tour California in November. Conor will be a attending The Representational Art Conference in Ventura, CA November 1-4 and will be a performing a lecture demonstration of oil painting on the opening day. He will also be lecturing at Laguna College of Art and Design and will be featured in a solo exhibition in San Francisco, CA at CK Contemporary Gallery, November 7 through 18, 2016.
