Suspect In San Jose ATM Robbery Arrested

SAN JOSE, CA -- Officers have arrested a suspect in connection with a San Jose robbery that happened last month, when a man was forced at gunpoint to withdraw money from ATM machines, police said.
Solomon Bell, 20, of San Jose, was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of robbery and kidnapping, according to police.
The case began at 2:40 p.m. Aug. 22, when police responded to a call reporting a robbery at San Salvador Street at South Sixth Street in San Jose.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, told the officers he had been robbed at gunpoint and forced to walk to different ATM machines and withdraw money. Detectives who investigated identified Bell as a suspect and tracked him down.
