I'm not a big fan of blogs - they can be impersonal and egocentric. However, the recent series of events aimed against Templar Sports in Los Gatos has prompted me to open a dialogue in support of the Constitutional Rights of Americans.
There is a movement across this nation where Americans seem ready to abrogate both rights and responsibilities to the government. That is dangerous.
During the several hearings at The Town Council about firearms laws and Templar I saw many speakers willing to avoid the responsibility of community unity in favor of government control of their freedoms. That is dangerous.
The ignorance of some speakers about the law and firearms in general was appalling. That the Town Council merely nodded their collective heads in agreement (willful ignorance) and blindly adopted draconian measures - against one business - smacked of the Salem witch trials.
