Local Power Shutdowns Upcoming On Los Gatos Boulevard

The PG&E shutdowns will occur between Sept. 18 and 29. Each localized power shutdown will last 9 to 10 hours at night.

As part of the Utility Undergrounding (Rule 20A) project on Los Gatos Boulevard, PG&E will start a series of controlled local power shutdowns starting Saturday, September 18.

PG&E will switch the power supply from existing overhead lines/equipment to the new underground infrastructure for all businesses and facilities that either face or receive electricity feed from Los Gatos Boulevard.

Each localized power shutdown will last 9 to 10 hours, scheduled at nights between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. to minimize impacts. All PG&E customers to be affected have been notified by mail of the time and date of their shutdowns. The last outage is scheduled for September 29.
