Start a conversation about Art and History and become a NUMU Docent! NUMU has just opened three new exhibitions, and with increased attendance, the demand for docent tours has grown and we need your help!
A docent is a volunteer in the Museum’s Education Department who conducts tours and special programs for visitors. Docents at NUMU help to make our art and history exhibitions accessible, understandable and rewarding to NUMU visitors. By creating a dialogue with the visitors, docents stimulate observation, speculation, possibility and connection.
