MALIBU, CA — A person was killed Wednesday morning when a vehicle plunged down a hillside along Malibu Canyon Road. The crash was reported at about 7:40 a.m. Wednesday just north of Potter Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. A Tesla had tumbled around 30 feet down a cliff in the area, trapping someone inside. Crews descended down the hill and found the victim inside the vehicle, <a href="https://ktla.com/news/local-news/person-killed-after-vehicle-plunges-off-malibu-canyon-road-near-pch/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">KTLA reported.</a> One person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. City News Service contributed to this report.
