3rd Wednesday Speaker Series: Bill Becker of Freedom X

Come and join us at Amici Brentwood for the Malibu Bel-Air RWF Third Wednesday luncheon on April 15 at 11:30AM.

Bill Becker - Founder, President, CEO and General Counsel for Freedom X, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public interest legal organization dedicated to protecting conservative and religious freedom of expression.

For more than a decade, Bill has taken on the Left’s censorship of support for conservative causes by suing them for engaging in the all-too-common practice of “viewpoint discrimination.” His clients have included, among other targets of the Left, political activist David Horowitz, author Robert Spencer, American Freedom Alliance’s Avi Davis and others.

The U.S. Supreme Court last week rejected his appeal of a First Amendment lawsuit defending patriotic expression.

He will explain the logistical arc of that lawsuit, why it seems we are more often than not losing the culture war, and what lawyer activists like him are doing to hold off a tidal wave of threats to our liberty.

Bill will be discussing his current appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court in a case that will determine whether the U.S. flag is a symbol of national unity or a symbol of nationalistic bigotry. Bill will explain how conservatives are being systematically disenfranchised in government and the private sector and how action is necessary to preserve our liberty and our right to dissent against the Left’s campaigns of censorship.
