The results remain preliminary, with additional mail-in, provisional and conditional ballots still to be processed.

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk began its official count Wednesday with ballot processing continuing around the clock through Friday.

County election officials have scheduled ballot-counting updates on at least a daily basis for a week after Election Day, followed by additional updates on select dates throughout the month.

The county registrar is set to certify the final results on Nov. 27.
