Man Found On Malibu Beach Was Shot To Death
The 42-year-old's body was found Monday evening on Pacific Coast Highway.
MALIBU, CA – Authorities Thursday said a man found dead on a beach in Malibu had been shot, and his death is being investigated as a homicide.
The body of 42-year-old Miguel Guardado was discovered about 4 p.m. Monday in the 25600 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office and the Los Angeles County sheriff's department.
Authorities had indicated in their preliminary investigation that no foul play was suspected in the death. However, an autopsy determined that Guardado had been shot in the upper body, and it prompted a homicide probe, the sheriff's department reported.
