'Barely Alive' Dogs Rescued From Malibu RV: Deputies
Sheilah Aragon was arrested after two dead dogs and three emaciated others were rescued from an RV parked at Zuma Beach.

MALIBU, CA — A Palmdale woman was arrested for felony animal cruelty last week after deputies found two dead dogs and three others severely emaciated in an RV parked at Zuma Beach, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies found the RV parked at Zuma Beach Thursday night and discovered it had several outstanding parking tickets, meeting the threshold to be towed. After smelling a foul odor coming from inside, deputies entered the motor home and found the five caged dogs, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Three of the dogs were "barely alive" and transported to a local animal hospital. Two were dead, according to Lt. Jack Jordan of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.
