Energeia Boot Camp Malibu wants you to live the most healthful, happy, and fit summer that you can. These are unique tips to get you started.

1. Eat a healthy whole foods diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, seeds, whole grains and possibly free range organic eggs and lean organic meats.

2. Replace sweetened drinks (whether they’re sweetened with sugar, HFCS, or artificial sweeteners) with plenty of pure, clean water.

3. Exercise regularly. Make sure to incorporate high intensity interval training at least once or twice a week. Energeia Boot Camp added new times and days to the program this summer. Check it out at www.energeiabootcamp.com

4. Avoid all genetically engineered foods. 

Make sure none of the following are on your grocery list, unless they are USDA certified organic:

Soy 

Cottonseed 

Corn 

Canola Oil 

Hawaiian papaya 

Alfalfa

Sugar from sugar beets 

Some varieties of zucchini 

Crookneck squash

5. Avoid any product containing aspartame, which is derived from a GE organism. And avoid any milk products that may have rBGH. 

6. Optimize your gut flora with fermented foods, such as fermented vegetables or take probiotics.

7. Consume healthy fats, like eggs, avocados, coconut oil, and nuts.

8.Eat plenty of raw food

9. Get an appropriate amount of sunlight to optimize your vitamin D levels

10. Limit toxin exposure

11. Get plenty of sleep

12. Manage your stress
