Firefighters Stop Progress Of Rambla Pacifico Malibu Fire
Rambla Pacifica Street is closed for fire cleanup, but Pacific Coast Highway isn't affected: BREAKING

MALIBU, CA – A quarter-acre brush fire has broken out in the 2600 block of Rambla Pacifico Street in Malibu. The light to medium brush is burning downhill. The additional backup that the Los Angeles County Fire Department initially thought they needed when requesting a second alarm has been cancelled. Firefighters are on scene with "only a couple of engines," and they have stopped forward progress of the flames, according to a fire official.
Rambla Pacifico is closed to allow Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel to clean up following the containment of the brush fire. Traffic on Pacific Coast Highway wasn't affected and the fire was quickly contained, according to the City of Malibu.
