Cliffside Malibu Treatment Center Offers Free Webinar Series
The web series will be every Tuesday at 6 p.m. hosted by Dr. Constance Scharff, PhD.

MALIBU, CA — Cliffside Malibu, an alcohol and drug addiction treatment center, has launched a free, live online seminar series to educate the public about substance abuse and how to seek help, according to a Cliffside Malibu press release. The weekly series will be hosted by Dr. Constance Scharff, PhD, who is a frequent contributor to Psychology Today and Huffington Post.
The series is scheduled for every Tuesday at 6 p.m. starting today on Youtube. After the webcast, Dr. Scharff will be available to answer questions via live chat. "The Addiction Treatment Show" will cover various topics related to drug and alcohol addiction: mothers and addiction, addiction and the brain, how long rehabilitation should last, among others.
"A big part of the problem is a lack of knowledge. There are a lot of misconceptions about addiction," says Dr. Scharff, the research director of Cliffside Malibu, in a press release. "I want to help families to know how to get help and also how to care for themselves when a loved one is using."
