Don't Miss 'Summer Lovin’ Shindig' In Malibu
An all-day extravaganza featuring a BBQ, free yoga, sweet treats, corn hole, shopping, games, crafts and a sunset movie. Puppies, too!
MALIBU, CA – Trancas Country Market in Malibu is hosting a weekend of family fun, with a slew of events planned, dubbed the "Summer Lovin’ Shindig" for Saturday, June 14.
On Saturday, the line-up includes:
11 a.m. - 3 p.m.: A BBQ with Vintage Grocers on the market’s patio, serving up such traditional favorites as hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken,plus all the fix in’s. The BBQ also will be open on Sunday.

11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Local studio Malibu Beach Yoga will hold a free, 60-minute class, with fitness and meditation appropriate for all levels and ages, on The Green at Trancas Country Market. Bring your own mat!
11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Malibu candy shop SweetBu Malibu is partnering with local creamery Malibu Yogurt & Ice Cream to share samples and sell ice cream sandwiches, scoops and a variety of candy favorites.

Starting at 1 p.m. is a corn-hole tournament sponsored by Malibu Beach House and Kristy’s Village Café on The Green. Participants can join a team to win dining gift certificates, summer-ready merchandise and other prizes. Cool down after the tourney with a complimentary glass of Kristy’s signature lemonade.
11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Kids' Coloring Corner: Little ones can create beautiful summer artwork at 98% Angel at the shop's the kids coloring corner. On Sunday, July 15, 98% Angel hosts its weekly art class.
Saturday, July 14 only - Deity Jewelry & Animal Rescue Pop Up at Hiptique: Come meet adoptable Deity Dogs at Hiptique! All profits from Diety Jewels sales go toward rescuing puppies from kill shelters in the Los Angeles area. Also enjoy 20 percent off merchandise and in-stock swim at Hiptique.
Summer Shopping: Throughout the weekend, guests can peruse new apparel collections by hiptique & Nati Boutique, summer styles and pampering by HAIR, surf and skate gear from Drill Surf & Skate and more.

Concert 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Friday, July 13 with the Andy Cahan Experience, on the Green.
