Driver Who Died In Malibu Canyon Rollover Crash Identified
A 25-year-old Los Angeles man died in a crash that sent his car plunging into a canyon early Monday morning.

MALIBU, CA — Authorities have identified the man who died in a collision that sent his car plunging off an embankment on Malibu Canyon Road early Monday morning.
Luis Gonzalez, 25, of Los Angeles was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The crash occurred at around 12:20 a.m. on Malibu Canyon Road about a mile north of Pacific Coast Highway. The car was northbound when it rolled over, struck a utility pole and went over the embankment, according to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's station.

All lanes of Malibu Canyon Road were shut down for nearly 12 hours as a result of the investigation.
