Earthquake Rattles Los Angeles County: Did You Feel It?

The United States Geological Survey said the quake hit near Malibu shortly before 11:45 p.m. Friday.

MALIBU, CA — A preliminary 3.7-magnitude earthquake rattled Los Angeles County on Friday night, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The agency said the quake struck around 11:44 p.m.

The epicenter was located about 3.6 miles southwest of Cobb and around 6.8 miles northwest of Malibu.
