Ernie Andrus, Age 93 And a WWII Navy Vet, Ran From Coast to Coast
Meet an "Amazing" running to remind us all of WWII vets' courage and valor.

Ernie Andrus, age 93 and a World Ware II Navy veteran, ran from coast to coast--literally. It took him three years to run from San Diego, California, to the beach of Saint Simons Island in Georgia. He wanted to educate people on what it took to win the war, in particular the relatively unknown role of the landing ships that got personnel and equipment onto the beaches of Europe, on which he served.
Hundreds of people from all over the States joined him in Georgia for his final stretch.
