Brad Davis to speak on Emergency Preparedness at MUMC

A timely presentation on emergency preparedness: Earthquake, Tsunami and Wild Fires will be given Sunday September 16th at the Malibu United Methodist Church, 30128 Morning View Drive. At 1:00 pm.  The MUMC requested Brad Davis, Emergency Services Coordinator for Malibu, to speak in Westside Malibu, however all of Malibu is encouraged to attend.

 Brad Davis is responsible for the development and implementation of the emergency operations plan and the hazard mitigation plan for Malibu.  Prior to his nine years of service in this city he has been in action throughout the U.S. working at FEMA, Federal Emergency Management Agency, in response to major disasters.  Along with his many other duties, Mr. Davis, has trained Malibu’s volunteer CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) and teaches CERT classes throughout the year to those who want to be prepared.
