Last weekend the Malibu High School Baseball program played their final games before the season officially begins this Friday at home at 3:00 vs. St. Monica High. The Sharks baseball program swept D1 power Santa Monica High in a double header in which game 1 was won 5-0 behind a combined shut out by Matt Gruskin and Chase Lambert. Game 2 saw Malibu Baseball muscle up to win 9-8, behind the homerun of Evan Anthony and the shut down pitching of Noah Simon.
The Sharks Baseball Program has improved tremendously and this year promises to be the beginning of a new era for Malibu Baseball. Opening Day is this Friday at home 3PM and we play again on Saturday at 11:00AM. Come on out to the field. Hope to see you there!
