The public workshop will take place at the Michael Landon Center at Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. The workshop will teach attendees how to develop an ocean friendly garden using native plants, water-efficient irrigation devices (such as "smart" sprinkler controllers and drip irrigation), permeable materials and onsite water retention techniques to reduce water run-off pollution to the ocean.
