MALIBU, CA — One lane in each direction will shut on State Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) weeknights through early December, according to the City of Malibu.

The closures will begin Monday and will run Mondays through Fridays from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. between Malibu Canyon Road and Corral Canyon Road. The closures are part of a $2.2 million project to repair the pavement on Pacific Coast Highway, according to the city.

The closures will depend on weather and may vary. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
