Malibu Brush Fire Stopped At 1/2 Acre
The Los Angeles County Fire Department stopped a brush fire in Malibu.

MALIBU, CA — The Los Angeles County Fire Department stopped a brush fire around 24641 Piuma Road in Malibu at around 1:20 p.m. Thursday, the City of Calabasas said.
Firefighters stopped the fire at a half-acre around 1:20 p.m. The fire started around 12:45 p.m. at a quarter-acre and was traveling downhill with light winds. There was no threat to any structures at the moment, the department said. The department called the fire the "Stunt Fire."
