Forward Progress Stopped On Mesa Fire In Malibu
Los Angeles County Fire has reported that the Malibu fire is mostly contained.
MALIBU, CA — LA County firefighters are battling a 1-acre brush fire at Carbon Canyon Road and Carbon Mesa Road.
Deemed the "Mesa Fire," the brush fire was reported at around 3:25 p.m. Helicopters and hose lines arrived shortly after, and reported making "good progress."
As of 3:55 p.m., LA County Fire reported that forward progress has been stopped, and the fire is 80% contained.
