Free Sunscreen Kiosks To Be Installed At Malibu Beaches
UCLA Health and the nonprofit IMPACT Melanoma partnered to sponsor the installation of 50 free sunscreen kiosks in Santa Monica and Malibu.

MALIBU, CA – Sunburns suck, but that will no longer be a problem at Santa Monica and Malibu beaches this summer thanks to a new program. Fifty free 30 SPF sunscreen kiosks will be installed this summer in the two cities, it was announced Wednesday.
UCLA Health and the nonprofit IMPACT Melanoma partnered to sponsor the installation of the kiosks manufactured by BrightGuard.
"I know a lot of parents are really vigilant about putting sunscreen on the children ... (but they should) remember to take care of their own skin health too," UCLA Health dermatologist Dr. Jennifer Hsiao told NBC4 during an unveiling event at the Santa Monica Pier. "And hopefully the kiosks will help be reminders that after you help your child, put it on yourself."
