Gas Prices Drop After Rising for Five Straight Days
The average price rose 2.1 cents during the streak, including four-tenths of a cent on Tuesday.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- A five-day streak of increases ended Wednesday when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent Wednesday to $2.73.
The average price rose 2.1 cents during the streak, including four- tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 2.2 cents more than one week ago but 16.5 cents less than one month ago and 5.8 cents lower than one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $2.725 after rising for five consecutive days. It is 3.5 cents more than one week ago but 15.4 cents less than than one month ago and 3.9 cents lower than one year ago.
