Helicopter Rescues Motorcyclist Who Went Over Malibu Cliff

The biker crashed about 100 feet down an embankment at Las Flores Canyon Road.

Updated 12 pm.: Firefighters today rescued a motorcyclist who crashed about 100 feet down an embankment in the Malibu area.

Rescuers were sent to the 2000 block of Las Flores Canyon Road shortly after 10 a.m., said county fire Inspector Randall Wright.

Firefighters using a helicopter hoisted the motorcyclist from the rugged area about 11 a.m., Wright said.

The biker was taken to a hospital in unspecified condition.
