High Winds Lead To Fallen Tree, Power Outages In Malibu
Southern California Edison is monitoring conditions and may implement its Power Safety Shutoff Program in Malibu.

MALIBU, CA – A tree has fallen down on Wildlife Road in Malibu, blocking the street and shutting it down between Zumirez and Fernhill drives, according to Malibu Emergency Services.
Southern California Edison (SCE) notified the City Monday morning that it is monitoring conditions and may implement its Power Safety Shutoff Program (PSPS) in Malibu due to current high winds, the City of Malibu said.
There are currently power outages in certain neighborhoods of Malibu due to wind conditions that are not part of a planned shutoff. The City is in contact with all partner agencies to coordinate preparations for possible power outages, officials said. Residents should be prepared for possible power outages.
