HOW DO THESE PEOPLE LIVE WITH THEMSELVES?

I just saw a TV ad for “My Pillow”. Some guy in a blue shirt and a 70’s moustache comes on and claims to be the “inventor” of an amazing ground breaking pillow technology that cures almost anything….snoring, bad night’s sleep, sore necks, headaches, etc.. He had people come up to the microphone from his staged audience and give some of the most breathtakingly disingenuous and incredulous testimonials about his pillows that you could ever imagine. They were clearly actors who were shameless. The things they said were scientifically impossible. I am surprised they don’t claim that “My Pillow” cures baldness.

According to their website, ”My Pillow” cures:

Headaches

Sleep Apnea (are you kidding me?)

TMJ (don’t be ridiculous)

Fibromyalgia

Allergies

Migraines

Snoring (and many other things)

To have an infomercial like this..you need a team, a lot of accomplices...just like the Nazi’s needed a team...they couldn’t have done it with Hitler alone...…everyone has to be complicit in the lies and deceit. The host of the show…the “My Pillow” “inventor” (who claims to have sent a bunch of free “My Pillows” to Afghanistan where he read a testimonial from a soldier that moved him almost to tears), the cameramen, the audience, the producers, the writers, etc…have to all be (at peace) with lying. It is quite depressing actually. This guy is getting rich by doing nothing but marketing his lies…and he has a lot of help.

I see this all the time on TV…the guy who claims to have a miracle cure for Arthritis…..he talks with a “host” on a show rigged to look legitimate. Larry King has sold his soul to the devil (in my opinion)…a man with millions and millions is willing to promote dubious products if he is paid enough…he gives them credibility by his celebrity. Shameful.

I see it with dietary supplements, etc… I see all of these claims that are totally bogus. I see doctors who are propped up to have “secret formulas”. They associate themselves with celebrities who endorse their products or co-produce the products. It really is one of the lowest forms of greed…it is exploitation. If you dangle money in front of celebrities, many of them cannot resist….It’s apparently a substitute for doing something meaningful with your life. Why don’t these celebrities help people with their exorbitant wealth? I am sure some do...Angelina and a few others...but mostly...they just try and build their empire and buy more houses, etc..

Don’t people value their integrity…or care about lying to people who trust them…and profiting falsely off of people?

Shouldn’t it be difficult to lie? Shouldn’t it make your voice quiver when you try and lie?, your palms sweat? Shouldn’t it give you a stomachache? Shouldn’t it make it hard to look in the mirror? A rich person preying on middle class people is inexcusable…

If you don’t have integrity…You have Nothing! You might as well live under a rock.
