Person Sent To Hospital For Injuries After Driving Off Kanan
One person was hospitalized after a vehicle went over the side of Kanan Dume Road Friday afternoon.
MALIBU, CA — One person was hospitalized Friday after a vehicle crashed off a cliff in Malibu, the California Highway Patrol reported.
CHP reopened Kanan Dume Road in both directions south of Latigo Canyon Road after a vehicle went off the road and over the cliff on Friday at about 12:30 p.m., according to CHP.
CHP reported an injury during the accident around 1:04 p.m. Friday, and the injured person was airlifted to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for treatment. CHP initially closed Kanan Dume Road in both directions South of Latigo Canyon Road, but the road was back open around 2 p.m.
